1. Thank you for taking some time to be interviewed for Trap Metal Magazine. Can you please introduce yourself to our readers and tell us your name?!
Of course homie, and thank you for all that you do for the community man! My Artist name is Aleister.
2. How long have you been working/making music under this project title?
Current title has been 5 years but 2 years seriously after I left the military.
3. Who gets bragging rights for helping you get to where you are now? Who are your day ones?
Without a doubt, my biggest support comes from my Wife, they’re my biggest supporter along with my Family. When it comes to fellow artists: Huge shout out to Shawn ( Rebeltug ) most def Micheal Ricciardi of Heartbound, all the homies in Nxxse Collective & New CORE Bangers on IG
4. What were you doing before all this started? Did you have other notable projects before this one?
Before this project, I was a welder in the military. I did that for about eight years. Before that, I was the vocalist of a few Metalcore/Deathcore bands back in the 2010s. Nothing of immense value outside of experience and the desire to always keep creating new tracks.
5. What can we expect from you next year? New music, visuals or tours?
All out dude, I’ve been in college for the past two years for Audio Engineering and Music Production. Once we hit March, ya boi is going non-stop. I’ve been honing in on my style in the Trap Metal genre and I’m stoked to grow alongside it even more.
6. What are your long-term goals? Where do you see yourself in 10 years. What about your end game?
Longterm, most likely working on Audio/Sound design projects as a paid freelance writer/producer and collecting those royalties from DSPs and anything I get through Sync Licensing. Ten years though, hopefully with my Wife and ( lil baby ) on a big ass plot of land surrounded by Farm animals and dogs, best outcome right there.
7. With an interest in who your influences are, if you could go on tour with anyone in the world, who would be on the bill with you?
For a genre specific show, it’d be a dream for all the dudes in The Nxxse Collective to go on tour, or otuka to make everyone sad; that’d be beyond sick. For artists that have shaped my design, 100% The Devil Wears Prada and a revival tour of the late 2000’s Metalcore scene. I think I’d be able to die happy then.
8. What is your local music scene like? What are the pros and cons? And where do you see room for improvement?
I’m in Socal, so it’s immensely dense. There’s something for everyone and I love that the pockets of each scene kind of run deep like a family. Haven’t had a chance to work with him yet but shoutout to Ray Garcia of The Pit Promotions, def always be on the lookout if you fr Trap Metal, Grind, Hardcore, ect. The Cons would probably just be time management because how much is happening from LA to RIverside. I can’t speak of improvement, but hopefully we just see the scene growing more and more.
9. Here at TMA we’re constantly looking for fresh talent and prospective features. If you had to choose 5 artists from your circle to put us on too, who would you choose and why?
1. Nxxses 2. Rebeltug 3. Blackwill. 4. Michael Ricciardi 5. Demiii Gxd. As for reasons, you’d have to listen to their top five tracks. These dudes are seriously talented. Trap Metal, Phonk, wicked hooks and even straight up hardcore. They insane and deserve so much traction.
10. As we wrap this up, is there anything else you want to add?
And thank you for your time! Just keep up the work brother, I’m stoked to see how TMA grows this year, I know the work you do for the scene is unmatched. Also for those reading, keep watching because This year is gonna go so hard. These tracks are insane.
