“Noc Noc” is an absolute beast of a track. Three heavyweights on one song—it doesn’t get much better than this. I had the privilege of writing a review for this monstrous new single from $igil, a name that just shot up on my radar, alongside two undisputed OGs of Trap Metal, OmenVIII and Torchfvce.
Right now, they’re wrapping up their FLOWERS TOUR—a fitting name, considering the legendary status of these artists. Fun fact: OmenVIII’s Doubt Me Now tour played a huge role in getting me on some of my first shows ever. And Torchfvce? Let’s just say his artistry resonates with me on a deeper, more spiritual level—but that’s a story for a different publication. So, being in a position to give these artists their well-deserved flowers is something I don’t take lightly. They’ve paved the way, inspired countless artists, and continue to push the boundaries of my favorite sub – genre.
Now, let’s talk about Noc Noc. This track is bone-chilling—a perfect blend of eerie Trap Metal energy and shadow rap undertones. OmenVIII, the very architect of that whisper-flow shadow rap style (which has since become a signature element of Trap Metal), lays down verses that feel ominous yet hypnotic. Then there’s $igil, whose performance offers mesmerizing—razor-sharp bars laced with haunting layers that amplify the track’s eerie atmosphere. And just when you think it can’t get any heavier, Torchfvce storms in with his signature all-out, guttural screams, delivering a raw and relentless final verse, ripping the words from his throat in pure trap metal / scream rap fashion from start to finish.
This track is a masterclass in controlled chaos—dark, aggressive, and absolutely unforgiving. If you haven’t heard it yet, stop what you’re doing and go blast this at full volume. 10/10. Noc Noc. Out now on all platforms.
