1. Thank you for taking some time to be interviewed for Trap Metal Magazine. Can you please introduce yourself to our readers and tell us your name?!
We are DIE4ME. A chaos pop/ Trap metal/ Grunge duo hailing from Houston, Tx
2. How long have you been working/making music under this project title?
We have been working as DIE4ME for a little over a year now. We have 1 album, 3 music videos, and a handful of singles out so far.
3. Who gets bragging rights for helping you get to where you are now? Who are your day ones?
We are our own ecosystem and mostly lean on each other. Together as Liv (vocalist) and Roe (producer) everything is made in house top to bottom so we don’t really need anyone else. We love a good collaboration though. Our fans are the real day ones.
4. What were you doing before all this started? Did you have other notable projects before this one?
Before DIE4ME we had many individual projects under different names. We met by working in and around the horrorcore scene but honestly never fit in there. We have too many influences to assimilate to a specific genre.
5. What can we expect from you next year? New music, visuals or tours?
We will be dropping singles and working on our 2nd album. We try to make visuals for every song even if it’s a short clip, but we will also have full length music videos periodically. There will be merch as well for the die hards.
6. What are your long-term goals? Where do you see yourself in 10 years. What about your end game?
Tbh neither of us thought we would live this long and we’re very short sighted, but there will be growth and expansion. We are excited to work with other artists that inspire us and book some quality shows as well. We go where the creativity takes us.
7. With an interest in who your influences are, if you could go on tour with anyone in the world, who would be on the bill with you?
The short answer is that there’s a very long list. Marilyn Manson, Hawthorn Heights, Ic3peak, Psyclon Nine, Spiritbox, City Morgue to name a few.
We really do listen to everything though .
8. What is your local music scene like? What are the pros and cons? And where do you see room for improvement?
This might sound elitist but we don’t really see ourselves as local. There’s a weird circle jerk that happens in every local scene and it’s not for us. We are always down to do shows or work with people from anywhere that we’re feeling. And only if they love us the same.
9. Here at TMA we’re constantly looking for fresh talent and prospective features. If you had to choose 5 artists from your circle to put us on too, who would you choose and why?
Ritual of Ether
Goth Prince
Cape Fear Butcher
Babble the Demon
UNDERLORDS
Tonejustdied
10. As we wrap this up, is there anything else you want to add? And thank you for your time!
Thank you for having us. 2025 is gonna be crazy. Let’s fucking go!
