Ape Gabriel 
“Vilified” a 7 track ep by XBloodBathX brings a breath of fresh air to the alternative/heavy rap scene. 7 songs with 7 vibes from straight trap metal with distorted guitars in “Die Today, Famous Tomorrow”, to a more industrial goth ballad in “Shallow Grave”, this ep shows how flexible XBloodBathX can be in contrast to the albums full of singles typically seen within trapmetal, each song has its place and sets its own tone. Definitely an accomplishment deserving of acknowledgement. There’s even a traditional double kick drum break down in the first track “Parasite”, as a metalhead I have to say that was sick, would’ve loved some heavy detuned guitars accompanying it but either way was an awesome break. However I do believe the mixes are holding this record back from being truly ground breaking, while the writing is totally unique and passionate lyrically it could use some extra stand out moments, many of the songs lack a true low end and impact within the instrumentals, if this was fixed this album would be an easy 8 or 9 out of 10 however as it sits I give “Vilified” a 7/10.
