Death Brad Thanny released their new EP: Growing Pains. This six-song extended play features has a lot of different styles. My three favorite were Lettem Drop, No Loose Change, and Growing Pains. Lettem Drop has a heavy bass that follows a trap-style beat with screamo vocals. The background had a glitchy and distorted guitar melody that gave it gave it a unique vibration and got stuck in my head. No Loose Change had a really crazy sounding guitar that was accompanied by a punk-like vocal performance. The energy here is intense and raw. Everything I look for in an underground track like this. The last song that really stood out to me was Growing Pains. This title track had more of a high energy trap metal style with some crazy glitched bass lines. An appropriate conclusions to a very well put together release. This EP is a nice, strait to the point introduction to Death Bard Thanny’s raw talent. I give this EP a rating of 10/10.
