Muphvsv is back with a solid shadow rap / trap metal crossover release. 4 insanely dark and well put together tracks under the titled of Vein. From start to finish this release had me on the edge of my seat, and ended with me wanting more. Prognosis, coming in hot, Muphvsv wastes no time getting right into his woes, delivered with shadowy energy. Rapping over a beat with a snare hitting so filthy I want to hit up an old school slipknot concert. About two thirds of the way through, the songs implodes into a destructive metal cyber punk symphony. Muphvsv ain’t playing games. Track 2, Things speed up. Roadkill, doesn’t feature the same Doom Metal vibe as the 1st track, but it still has that shadow rap / cyberpunk energy. Muphvsv is letting us know he can diversify his bars and sound. Nobody is going to slow him down, no matter how badly they want to. Dying Slow is my favorite track off the release. Spooky horror tones, on a dark phonk type beat. But it’s my favorite because towards the end of the track, the song erupts into a sinister metal track. My kinda energy, and another solid crossover track for the EP. Last but not least we have Visions. Muphvsv closes his EP strong. This song features aggressive textures and lyrical precision, progressively going heavier as the song continues. This mans screaming vocal tones are top notch. Vein is a great EP to check out and add to your collection. And I’ll be keeping an eye on this creative artist on the rise.
